Since we arrived in Brazil last year, we've been searching the Lord to know what is His next step for our family while we're here. And everything is leading us back to Cape Verde. While we were there, we had the opportunity to meet a ministry called Preach. It's a Baptist Ministry that is now established in Cape Verde, and this ministry has built a Bible College in Pedra Badejo, the village where we lived. PREACH invited us to be part of it, so after much prayer and seeing the Lord lead us, we are now part of PREACH Ministries. Since we can't leave Brazil and be full time in Cape Verde, Claudio's been traveling back and forth working on the PREACH Planting Seeds Outreaches, where Bibles and Christian books are distributed in elementary and high schools throughout the Island of Santiago. At this moment, Claudio is in Cape Verde for 45 days where he, together with the other PREACH team members, is preparing for the training and teaching at the Bible college in Pedra Badejo.
 

CHILDREN   

Ivandro, Gabriel and Hadassah are almost done with schooling this year. They are fully adapted to the Brazilian lifestyle and are glad to be here. Hadassah started attending a daycare center and next year she'll begin kindergarten. She's excited to be in "school" as she says it.

Gabriel was diagnosed with TDAH. In short, he's hyperactive and has trouble with concentration. This has brought him a lot of trouble in school, and he won't be able to make it to 3rd grade. So, next year he'll start 2nd grade again, with a new teacher that is used to working with hyperactive children. He's been seeing a psychologist for a few months now, and this is helping a lot. He has improved a lot these past two months. He's a very sweet child and needs your prayers.
