Special O.P.S. application process

If you are interested in starting the application process to be on a Special O.P.S. missionary team, the following is a detailed application process:

Step 1 – registration Application:

Fill out and submit our online registration application below.

Step 2 – Initial Interview:

Upon receiving your registration form, a representative will contact you within 7-10 days for a follow-up packet. This will start the process to prepare you for the field.

Step 3 – Application:

1. Based on the initial application, if you move forward, the packet will be sent with instructions on how to submit all requirements. Additionally, we will need to receive the following items before an application can be considered complete:
• Short-term application – SIGNED  and notarized -  February 28^th, 2008
• $1000 for registration and preliminary costs  - February 28^th, 2008
2. After we have received all of the completed application documents you will move to the next items to be completed.

Step 4 – Completion:

1. There are some additional items that we will need to receive before orientation:
• SIGNED Visa application and 2 regulation passport pictures – March 30^th, 2008
• SIGNED Passport – March 30^th, 2008
• Spiritual Gifts test – March 30^th, 2008
• Remainder of funds due – April 15^th, 2008

Step 5 – Orientation:

You will be invited to an orientation program held at Fellowship Independent Baptist Church on May 26th, 2008 in Radcliff, Kentucky. During this orientation you will receive an in-depth overview of the customs and culture of Cape Verde and at the same time we will further your instruction on daily procedures, dress codes, behavior, etc.
